On Wednesday, June 22nd, La Spezia Container Terminal hosted a delegation from the Swedish company SKF, including its logistics division SKF Logistics Services Italy.
SKF is the market leader in the production of ball bearings and a longtime partner of Contship Italia Group, both as a supplier of equipment for the container terminals of the group and historically, as a sponsor of the Porto Lab project, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary including a new website www.portolab.it
A number of the guests were then invited to a classroom training session, organized by LSCT’s Management for Quality, Safety and Environment, dedicated to the new VGM (Verified Gross Mass) regulations, whilst the rest of the SKF delegation visited the terminal and other operational areas of LSCT.
