Medcenter Container Terminal (MCT) is long accustomed in operating ULCC ships on a weekly basis, having 3 weekly calls of the 13,000 – 14,000 TEU capacity range, now established as the main workhorses in the main arterial West – East trades, linking Asia – Mediterranean – North Europe ports.
Built in 2012 by Hyundai Heavy Industries, Ulsan, South Korea, MSC Regulus , weighing at141,635 GRT arrived in MCT on March 4th, completing some 2,300 contractual moves, continuing the voyage on March 5th having achieved a REAL OVERALL PRODUCTION RATE (Tot. Moves + Hatch Cover Moves/(Overall Working Time -No MCT Delays)) of 131.10 moves per hour.
