Information about personal data processing

Your personal data is processed in electronic form to provide you with the requested contents and services and, in case a legitimate interest is associated with your account, to profile it and to identify a set of commercial interests, related to Contship Italia and its subsidiaries’ business. If an explicit authorization to be sent commercial communications is provided (opt-in) these data might be used to tailor subsequent communications to your specific commercial interests.
The legal basis of such processing is the consent provided by the user at the time of registration to the requested service and, for the processing of data of prospect and current customers, the legitimate interest of the Group and its subsidiaries to communicate relevant business news and commercial offers

The users may contact Contship to the above mentioned address or email, to exercise their rights to access their personal data or to receive from Contship any information about the processing or obtain the rectification and erasure of their personal data as well as to oppose to the processing (Article 15, Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
Users who believe that the processing of their personal data is carried out in violation of the provisions of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Supervisory Authority (here), pursuant to Article 77 of the Regulation, or seek judicial remedy pursuant to Article 79 of the Regulation.

What is a cookie?
