OOCL Asia – the first 2016 maiden call at Cagliari

CICT joins other Contship marine terminals in welcoming containership calls for the first time.

 

February 15th witnessed the on time arrival of the 8,060 TEUs OOCL Asia, deployed by Orient Overseas Container Lines in the Asia Suez Express (AZX), a service linking the Far East to the USEC via the Mediterranean.

Prior to completion of operations, CICT terminal planner Maurizio Defrassu hosted the crest delivery ceremony onboard the ship, presenting captain Ey Lee with the customized gift, a memento of OOCL Asia’s maiden call in Sardinia.

The ship departed on time, as for pro forma schedule.
