Hannibal provides intermodal links across the Alps and into the heartlands of Europe connecting main Italian ports to central European industrial areas. Hannibal offers point to point rail transport as well as intermodal solutions.
The concept is to use Italy's favourably located Mediterranean ports to create an inland south-north corridor which guarantees saving on costs and transit time for Far East cargo passing through the Suez Canal.
